In a year's time I would like to be able to use blogs in Junior English so that the students can post their book responses on their blog and other students can see what they are reading. Hopefully this will encourage them to read more and a greater variety of texts!
I would also like to be able to use podcasts as there are some great programmes that I hear on the radio on Sunday mornings and they can apparently be downloaded as a podcast, but I don't know how to do this!
You have some great ideas Marg. It is all very exciting as to what we could be doing!! I hope the school is going to budget lots of money for this to happen though!!

ReplyDeletePodcasts would be great for English. If there's one skill that we can be sure that English teachers have, it's talking. Post on here again and let us know how you got on.
